  • Z68 Extreme7 Gen3: BSODs caused by USB3

I've recently bought Z68 Extreme7 Gen3 motherboard. And almost from the beginning I've been having quite frequent BSODs caused by asmthub3.sys driver. Here are 2 of the dumps I have:
    1st dump
    2nd dump

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the drivers. Tried "repairing" them through installation package - nothing happened.

    I use Win7 x64.

please, advice what might be the problem?

    Thanks

Try installing the latest Asmedia ASM1041/ASM1042 USB 3.0 Controller 1.14.4.0 from here:

    ASROCK Z68 Extrem 7 Gen 3 bios & drivers

Incidentily if you'll take note on the versions that are on the page all of them are more recent then what ASRock has on their page as well as the dated versions on the mobo CD

Let us know how things worked out
