What did yoyu mean ? i have the latest driver for Nvidia card for sure. But what's it for ?
My card do not have HDMI.
it's onboard HDMI i am talking about.

let me show tha example:
My TV is connected to onboard HDMI.
My monitor connected to 8800 card.
Primary adapter in bios is onboard.
in that case we have hdmi audio. but don't have any image on monitor until OS is fully booted. Only ob TV (bios knows that i have HDMI and TV connected to it). And only OS knows about my 8800. There's some logic.

Other case -
Primary adapter is Discrete.
That's all. No Hdmi audio in bios. No HDMI audio in OS.
Yes monitor works from moment when i press power button on my PC. All is good, exept HDMI audio.

For now i use 1 case. In this case i have HDMI audio, and tolerate no signal on monitor until OS is boot.
But that's now sesrious, isn't it ?

So my question is

Why is audio device is disappears at all ?
HDmi video presents in any case
HDMI audio presents from case to case..
