AsRock 880GMH u3s3 Core unlock with UCC?

Hi, I am wondering if anyone else has this board and has unlocked cores with it. Or if it is possible. Ive been reading around at different things of how to unlock, but am not really sure on anything. What I have tried is just selecting ucc and reboot, but it wont post like that. Ive read that sometimes you have to change around some voltages, make sure cool n quiet is disabled, sometimes IDE instead of ACHI enabled, and trying older bios. Anyone else have experience with this board? BTW Im using a phenom II x2 565 BE. Thanks.

I think I'm going to try my cpu in a friends board that i know will unlock, just to make sure the cpu will unlock.

I have an 880G Pro3 and the BIOS is similar.
I'm running -
Phenom II X2 555 BE Callisto
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) F3-10666CL9D-4GBNQ

Mine unlocked all 4 cores on the Callisto without changing anything except UCC and Active Core Control.

Cool 'n' Quite - Enabled
CPU Thermal Throttle - Auto

Overclock Mode - Auto
Spread Spectrum - Auto
ASRock UCC - Enabled
CPU Active Core Control - Enabled

Didn't change any voltages.
When you first enable UCC and Active Core Control only the 2 cores will show:

Core0 Active control - Enabled
Core1 Active control - Enabled

After rebooting and entering the BIOS again all 4 will show:

Core0 Active control - Always Enabled
Core1 Active control - Enabled
Core2 Active control - Enabled
Core3 Active control - Enabled

I also have an ASRock N68C-S UCC with 4GB Kingston and the same Callisto CPU.
It also unlocked all 4 cores with any tweaking.

CPU-Z lists them as:
Deneb
AMD Phenom X4 B55

Hey Bill, thanks for the reply. I tried what you said. It wont post (no video) like that. I have to manually hold the power or reset to get it back on. Im on their latest bios 1.80. I still havent tried my friends motherboard out. Im thinking that the cpu is just not unlockable at all. Dont know if it matters but Im running Mushkin 996988 (2x4) 1.35v ram and my power supply is 850w BFG. Also Im running in ahci mode and dont have the amd rom bios enabled. Not sure what all options I need. I also cant find a review on it at all. Think I may be stuck at a dual core.

I think you may be right.
Just did a Google search for "unlock 4 cores phenom II x2 565 BE" and things don't look good for that CPU.
555s, on the other hand, seem to be extremely oc'able.

Its alright, Im actually pretty happy with the performance I have gotten from it though. Im a tweaker and like to try to get the most of the potential out of my rig, thats all. Im going to keep fooling around with it and if I happen to get it unlocked Ill report back. Maybe newer bios functions in the future will help. Thanks for your help Bill!
