Asrock 990Fx Extreme 4 and Bitfenix Colossus USB Issues

I have the 990Fx extreme 4 mobo and the bitfenix colossus tower. The colossus has USB 3 I/O ports. The mobo comes with a USB 3 header. I did not actually use this header I connected the ones from the case (Top I/O port). The USB 3 ports on the colossus still dont work. Am I doing something wrong?

Simply do a test with Asrock headers.
