Extreme3 Gen3 + Logitech G510

Heya Folks. new guy here. So yeah I built me up a new machine last week and I discovered my G510 won't allow me into the bios. So sadly I'm stuck with ram that is not timed properly, fans at 100% speed and no OC ability. I don't have another keyboard to use either. Anyone got a fix for this or ASROCK you folks got a bios update or anything I can try?

Does ASROCK reply here in a timely manor or at all? It's wild for a issue like this to go on unanswerd for so long. Seeing as how I'm not the first to have this issue nor report it.

Last I read (a post here a little while back) is that they are getting a G510 in to help find the issue.

Yeah saw a few of those posts but figured that they'd have at least a work around by now. Dunno tho. Kinda sad tbh.

It is, because their boards are really great and this bug is quite annoying for us that own the G510 :(

Well looks like Emily has been viewing this thread for a hour. So hopefully she'll have something for us soon. I hope. If not I may call Newegg. Hate to but I need a working PC.

Is it just the BIOS screen that your keyboard doesn't work, or does your keyboard not work even when you boot into the OS? If it's just the BIOS screen, then a cheap $5 or $10 keyboard would be the workaround just to set up BIOS. Then revert back to your G510.

Thanks Emily for the Link and help. Happy to report it works like a champ. My G510 got me right into the beta bios. I'll assume I use this bios until a official release is made?

Sorry I got cranky in my last post, I seem to recall mobo makers taking their time replying to people. I am really happy to see someone at ASRock is attending to this. I will try this BIOS myself when I get home.

No worries Boss. I wasn't sure if you were cranky or not. I ignored the post cause I wasn'r sure. I was just as cranky too. I'm very happy ASROCK stepped up. I got into the bios and set timings, and fan speed. Then hit the premade 4 GHZ profile and Prime95 is reporting 65c after 30 min of run time. I'm pleased.

Really? I install 1.30 from the windows installer and now MY FRIKIN KEYBOARD DOES NOT WORK AGAIN AT BIOS POST??? WTF? You guys searisoult didn't add this fix you gave me to the current bios?
