ASRock Extreme7 Gen3 with Tri-Sli MSI Lightning Extreme N580GTX

So, I'm in the process of getting TRI SLI working with this board and my new video cards, but have run into a major snag.
The SLI bridges that ASRock provided will NOT work with these video cards. There is a piece of the metal frame for the cards that sits a bit higher than the connectors, so the bridges won't even connect to the connectors. The metal is blocking it.

Cable SLI bridge works just fine that came with the card, but unfortunately, those are only for dual sli...anyone know of how I can actually get this working?

Shouldn't the 580 have two SLI connectors? Is it possible to run as CrossFire by connecting the first card to the second card then the second to the third one?
I am running the AMD cards...I'm not so sure about NVIDIA's..
