USB2 slow to respond 880GMH-LE/USB3

When inserting a USB2 device into a USB2 slot, the device is detected by the operating system (beep heard) but it takes a very long time for the device to be read and autoplay to come up.
For example, a 16GB flash drive takes one minute for the auto play to come up. On another computer , the same flash drive only takes 9 seconds to come up. Similarly when plugged into the USB3 slot on the 880GMH-LE/USB3 it only takes 9 seconds.
I have upgraded BIOS to version 1.2
What can I do to improve the read time on the USB2 slots?

Is this usb 2 port on front or back panel? (Some devices has problem connecting to front panel.)

Dear all,

I plug USB2.0 pen drive to every rear USB2.0 port for testing this issue, but I cannot see the symptom.

Please kindly adjust the PS2_USB_PWR1 jumper from 2-3 to 1-2 to try.

If the problem still cannot be solved, please kindly contact your local dealer to check your system.

I tried the rear (motherboard ports) and no change.

I changed the PS2_USB_PWR1 jumper from 2-3 to 1-2 ; no change

I reformat my USB drive and added files back; no change

Tried the USB drive with yet another computer USB2 port; it was fast.

Any further suggestions?

Both virus and anti-virus can cause this. Have you isolated software and hardware issues? (e.g. testing a different os).
