  • H67M-ITX/HT Wifi Module Unusably Slow

    Hi,

I purchased an ASRock H67M-ITX/HT for an HTPC build for a customer. I am experiencing an issue with the Wifi. It operates at 10-60 kbps. I have a 300 Mbps router and all other PCs work perfectly. Windows claims I have a 90-150 Mbps connection, but I'm operating at dial up speeds, even on LAN transfers. I've tried both the Vista and Win 7 drivers on the ASRock website. I also tried uninstalling all drivers and letting windows find and pick some on it's own. None of those made a difference. I'm hoping for some help here.

    Thanks.

I'm still having an issue with this. I tried a few different drivers. I've been able to get about 8 MBps transfers over my home network. I am also maxed out at a 150 Mbps connection. I'm able to get a solid 150 Mbps connection with one antenna, but the second anternna makes little to no difference. I'm not even sure if it's working. I can't get it up to the advertised 300 Mbps, even though I've confirmed with other wireless devices that my router is working properly at 300 Mbps.

This is the second ASRock motherboard I've bought and both have unresolved issues. The support has been less than spectacular. I can only hope that changes soon.

PS Good Night LED doesn't work properly on this board either. http://forums.tweaktown.com/asrock/4...night-led.html
