Hi,
I've installed an i3-2100 to the H67M motherboard, the board works flawlessly except it always show using 2 phases of power in "ASRock Extreme Tuning Utility"; no matter the machine is idle or under full load.
After switching the cpu to i3-2400, the ATX shows 4 phases of power under full load and 2 phases of power when idle; which I think is normal.
I've then changed another H67M and installed it with an i3-2100, the same symptom appears! My question is "Is it possible that the i3-2100 consumes just too little power and it never requires to use all 4 phases of power in the MB?"
Any input would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
