Hello,
I've got this PC: [Without over clocking now]
CPU-Z Validator 3.1
with Corsair AX750 Gold PSU
And this week I installed XFX Radeon HD5870 XXX and get a video issue. Vertical stripes, screen jumps around, horizontal stripes, white screen, black screen and all that while idle. When I install any other graphics card, like MSI HD 5700 Series, I've no problems. I tried out every driver versions + Catalyst versions, tried to change my PSU, tried to change my RAMs but nothing helped. Now I just ask me if the problem is with the BIOS. I've also looked here ASRock > Products > 890GX Extreme3 > CrossFire Support List and didn't find my graphics card. Does this mean anything? Should I update my BIOS or anyhow disable the onboard graphics? I also wrote to XFX technical support, the also don't know what case the issue.
I tried the card on two other PCs but they just didn't do anything.
I'll just insert the card in my PC again and tell you my BIOS version.
Best regards, Igor
