Extreme 4 P67 onboard analog audio vs PCI sound card

Hi Guys,

I am having problems with the onboard analog audio on my B3 chipset Extreme 4 P67 board. I really don't want to replace this board again so I was curious if you guys can tell me if a PCI sound card would be noticeably better than the onboard audio? I am looking at this one: Newegg.com - ASUS Xonar DS 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Audio Card.

Of course that this Xonar will outperform onboard audio by a huge margin.
