E350M1 plus IR

I recently bought the E350m1 on suggestion of a buddy 9looking to build an HTPC)
I came across an internal IR receiver
Internal IR w/MCE Remote
But cannot install it
Has anyone successfully installed an internal IR sensor, there's not much documentation on it

The one at HD-Plex doesn't look quite the same as the one shown on ASRock. HD-Plex does not have it in stock either. It also looks more complicated than the one at ASRock.

But since ASRock doesn't list a model number and I can't seem to find one for sale, I am thinking it is "vaporware".

I tried plugging a USB case connector into the CIR header as shown in the MB manual. I then tried my Rosewill MCE Remote IR receiver. It didn't work that way.
