4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.00 won't boot after trying radeon hd5450

hello,

i have a problem with my mobo, i had a sapphire hd4670 but i swapped the gfx card for a passive hd5450 from asus. As the motherboard didn't boot at all with this setup (no post screen) i replaced the hd 4670, but the pc does not boot, it shows "reboot and select proper boot device", in the setup hdd and dvd are listed but i cannot boot on hdd or dvdrom whatever the boot order is.
i saw that the hd5450 was not supported by the motherboard so i though it might have screw something.
i tried a clearcmos but it didn't help. how can i debug the whole thing to know what is not working ?

What PCIe version is your sapphire hd4670? This motherboard probably will accept PCIe 2.0 cards but not PCIe 2.1 or 3.0 cards.
