Uncommon problem with AM350M1

I just assembled my latest PC with a mini-itx AM350M1 Asrock MB. There is one problem left which is the power LED not working.

- I connected the power LED to the HDD LED connector to confirm the LED itself works
- I have tried both directions for the connector so this is not a polarity problem
- I have checked the latest manual on Asrock website should there be a typo in the printed manual

The only option left IMO is a motherboard problem. That would be the first time I see this!

Other suggestions?

Never seen/experienced this kinda problem before. Hmm are the power led pins nice and clean??

I would like to find out the fix to this problem. Hopefully Asrock's support agent Emily, might have an idea on how to fix your problem.
