Hi ! I' am having trouble getting P4VM890 running.
I cannot install operating system Solaris,Ubuntu,XP or bios upgate. The mobo seems new in a bag with AsRock driver disc.
Intel 2.4 Mhz, 512 Ram
Bios ver.03 starts fine, no beeps, checked Asrock CPU and RAM lists.

I tried to udate Bios to ver .09 DOS : error 3? file not found.

Using IDE , is this a problem with Sata boards

I have swapped all system components but Ram chips. The operating systems display initial screens then abort soon after with various errors.
