Plz help! Will my motherboard work with this processor?

hi i have a ASRock 775Dual-VSTA Core2 Duo 1066FSB w/ DDR1 & DDR2, AGP, PCI-Express -

and i can get a pretty good deal on a Core 2 Duo E7500 will this processor work with that board?

It's not on supported CPU list. ASRock > Products > 775Dual-VSTA > CPU Support List

Doesn't mean it won't work, just might showing up as unknown CPU.
