Same mobo, same problem. Tried every trick I know but new board will not POST, so what's the crack? Why no answers to the original question as it's obviously an everyday occurrence for the N68C (mine's a GS, with AMD Athlon II X4 640).

I had the same symptoms too - absolutely nothing happened when I powered up the new mobo with a phenom black x2 500 and 2x 2Gb sticks of corsair ddr3 1600 ram.

However I sorted it after realising I was making a schoolboy error (thanks john) - I had some ddr2 and ddr3 memory in there together.
Once I removed the older ddr2, it booted fine.

HOWEVER ....

Having installed XP ok I now have another mobo related issue I think.
The pc will nor warm start. I have to COLD start it every time.
If I do a Restart under XP or even CTRL-ALT-DEL, nothing. It shuts down but doesn't not come up again - and no beeps or errors either. Fans and drives all working.

Any ideas?

I sorted out my problem by pulling off all the connectors to front panel, usb etc; after that it booted fine. Then I found that the reset switch was jammed in, so that was the cause of the fault all along! Duuurrrr!
