  • USB Not Working M3A770DE

I already downloaded bios 1.70 which was suppose to fix the "PS2 MOUSE with USB keyboard" problem but I still can't use even a USB keyboard by itself. I did buy this ASRock as an Openbox item from newegg and I'm hoping I wont have to go through an exceptionally long RMA process.

It shows two usb devices in device manager "PCI to USB extended host controller" as "cannot start". I tried uninstalling and installing the all in one driver again to no avail. Any ideas?

    Re: USB Not Working M3A770DE

I have similar problem with a new A790GMH/128M mobo except in addition no USB function I no longer can get into the bios with F2 after upgrading to 1.70. Seems like the USB keyboard is not turned on until the win 7 login comes up.

So now my external HD's do not work and I can't get into the bios.

    ASRock tech, please help.

    Thanks.

      Re: USB Not Working M3A770DE

      Dear all,

After we test, PS2 mouse and USB keyboard can work normally on M3A770DE and A790GMH/128M with the latest BIOS.

Please kindly adjust the PS2_USB_PWR1 jumper from 2-3 to 1-2 to try.
      Thanks!

      Have a nice day
