ASRock N68-S UCC unlocking core problem

i have a semprom 140 am3 cpu , i heard that some people can unlock a second core ,well, i try to do it but fail , then i update the bios and now recognize athlon x2 ,but when i conect a ide or sata hard drive or cd/dvd drive the pc not respond , when i disconecct i can enter in bios and the computer respond well, some one can help me!!!!!
