  • KVR1333D3N9/2G running only @533 in N68C-S UCC

    Hi all,

I've just bought 2 KVR1333D3N9/2G and installed them in my N68C-S UCC mobo. At first my system won't boot, but after a few retries I managed to get into the BIOS settings and initially selected the default bios settings. The system won't boot afterwards. I managed to get back to the bios settings and manually changed the DRAM voltage and setting to 1.5+ and 1066mhz respectively. The system booted normally and looked stable after that.

I then changed the DRAM setting to 1333 (677) and increased the voltage 1 notch, around v1.6+ . My system won't boot again. I got it back to 1066 just to get access to my os.

Shouldn't my memory be running at 677(1333) rather than 533(1066)? I tried setting changing the NB voltage as well but nothing significant happend. Any suggestions? Many many thanks....

    Dear soultek101,

We test N68C-S UCC with Kingston KVR1333D3N9/2G and adjust DRAM clock to [DDR3 1333], system can work without any problem.

This issue may be related to your memory, please kindly refer to below suggestions for testing.
    1. Please load default settings and then adjust "DRAM clock" to [DDR3_1333] to try.
    2. Use eraser to clean the memory golden finger to try.
    3. Only install a stick memory by turns to check your two sticks memory are fine.
    4. Install a stick memory to DDR3_A1 and DDR3_B1 slot to try.
    Thanks!

    Have a nice day
