Hi all,

Right I love the board I have had it for about 3 years + now and I don't want to bin it and upgrade when it meets my needs.

I currently have a E4300 @ 2.51ghz and 2gb of DDR2 ram

I now find my self in a situation where I need to be able to run Virtualbox/Virtual PC on a 64 host running 64bit guests. With my current setup thats imposable as the E4300 does not support VT

If I go out and get a newer Intel E6700 and some faster ram, will the function for virtualization become available in the bios or am I flogging a dead horse

No one at all? I have even asked Asrock tech support and had nothing back :(

Thanks for the above, I can see ill need a bios update for the CPU support.

It still mentions nothing about VT/support though?

Hi,

Wile i'm thankful for the effort you have put in, Im well aware the CPU supports this feature as I outlined above.

The question that no one seems to be able to answer is does the motherboard support this?

CPU E4300 doesn't support Intel Virtualization Technology, please kindly refer to below link for CPU E4300 specification.
