  • Still can't install SP1 on Corp Version...

Even when i change the key with the appropriate progs...
I don't know what to do...

I have the famous Corp Version... I used the XPKey.exe to find keys.

I've typed all of them in the pop up activation windows.
Everything looks good at this point and then when i launch SP1 Pack, it says what you know on the dialogue box (sorry i'm french and i can't translate this dialogue box)...

I've even tried Home edition keys and Pro edition keys, no success...

Should i keep trying untill i find the good key ?
    How many years ? Uh...

Any idea ? Or shoud i hang myself ?
    Please help me...

rethink what you are doing, step by step, you must be doing something wrong, talked to to many people who did it with same instructions and had no problems at all, mine went very somthe also

yes I am a newbe, and proud of it.
and I am running the corp edition of xp-pro, and the installation of sp1 went very somth as I stated, I have done so on several systems with the same cd installed os. and not a glitch on any of them.

it does work on xp-pro, corp.

I don't think there is anyother xp that is floting around as much as this one is.

am I missing something here ?

Let's clear up a common misconception:

THERE IS NO SPECIAL CORPORATE VERSION OF WIN XP

There are only VLK's - Volume Licence Keys - ie the corporate keys. They use a different algorithm, therefore when the OS detects that algorithm, there is no need to activate.

The only keys that will not work in an XP Pro machine are XP Home keys..................
