  • cant multie boot windows vista?

i've been trying to get a multieboot gooing with windows vista and a windows 7 but i cant get them to install, i have tried a windows vista as a second OS but it had the same problem.

the first part of the install is just fine untill u have to reboot, then it just boots in to my normal somewhat broken vista.

with windows XP or Server 2003 i could manualy enter a second line where the second operating system would be but with vista u cant seem to edit the operating system list that 's in windows.

doese anybody know how to get this multi boot working?

    here's some more details.

im trying to multieboot both windows version on a Raid-0, main windows partition is 75GB, software/games partition is 228GB, Empty and would be windows partion is 292GB

after the fist install part on the 292GB partition there are the files u would exept to see so installation is working.. somewhat

Re: cant multie boot windows vista?

Ok Back home now so I just had a look at Vista Options and If you right click on "Computer" and click properites, then go to Advanced system settings on the left hand list, then to the Advanced Tab there is the Startup & Recovery option, have a look in there and see if the option to display the OS to boot from is checked?? I do remember in XP you could actually add the line in but it doesnt seem to let you in Vista. Its a good place to start anyway. Hope it helps.
