Upgrading to Vista

I was thinking about upgrading to Vista but i've read that when you install the upgrade over windows xp it overwrites your original xp cd key and replaces it with vista. The problem is that i was given a coporate copy of windows and a corporate cd key for xp from my work. Does this mean that if i upgrade to vista it will overwrite the coporate cd key that a lot of people use?

No. It will only effect your personal copy.
