    netframework install

    i'm getting a process id = 0xe5c(3676),Thread id = 0xe60(3680) msg, when i attempt to install netframework, it appears that it is a prerequisite to install certain security password manager programs.
    anyone have any ideas why windows update wont install it.........

    I had that happen once before, turned out that a few files that it depended on were messed up and windows needed to be reinstalled before the .net framework would install.
