I cant seem to recover my accidently delted files. I think I've tried just about every program there is. The only 2 programs that were able to view the missing files I keep getting the same error message. The files appear, the sizes are there and its states in good condition, however this is the error I get:
"Could not read source file! (device Windows drive E: (74.53 GB), MFT file ref: 28390, size: 1985681)
The programs that gave me this message were PC Inspector File Recovery and Filerecovery for windows. any ideas? I havent used the drive at all since the deletion. It was about 7 gigs of stuff, pretty desparate here! using win xp. drive setup is like this:
C: 34 gigs (partition 1)
E: 34 gigs (partition 2) -- deleted files here
D: 79 gigs
