  • How to open an old PIT file?

I'm not sure if this is off topic but I would like to know what to use in order to open a PIT (mac compression format) file in windows 7. Or convert it. Thanks.

Stuffit for windows or Stuffit expander for windows should open it
StuffIt supports over 25 different file formats

Let us know if that works please, in case someone ever asks in the future, thanks!

Hopefully it will work, I searched through Google for a while for ya, and it seemed like that was what was always suggested so hopefully it will work!

I was able to open the file but I used a different app instead. It turns out that it had a p3t extension which meant that it was a PS3 theme, even though windows was identifying it as a PIT file. I was a able to open it with PS3ThemeCreator from A.R.K. soft and had no need for Stuffit. Sorry for the delay in giving you an answer.
