On one machine I get this configuration window that takes a couple of minutes every time any office 2007 application is started. I was thinking of trying a repair install but I decided to post this message incase someone knows what is causing this.

Have you tried uninstalling, then reinstalling office

No, I haven't. That will be my last resort as I hate calling Microsoft for a reactivation code.
All the updates from auto update are there but I haven't looked around for any out of the ordinary updates, patches, or fixs yet. Do you know of any?
