what software to use for copying from computer too home dvd player

Hi all,

I bought cbt nuggets A+ CERTIFICATION on cd, and i wanted to watch it on my on my home dvd player, but it wont work due to a special codec what runs it.

Is there any software where when playing it on my pc it copies it onto a program so i can then copy it onto a dvd disc in mpeg format?

It would be much easier watching it on my sofa than on a hard chair in my bedroom lol.

it should.....but it didnt have one for me....either that or i am too brain dead to figure it out :/
