    Do Ramboosters work? if so which one?

    Programs like Cacheman and RAMbooster can affect performance and stability when used in Windows 9X, but in NT\2000\XP it does literally nothing to free up memory.

      but if u play IL-2 forgotten battles with win98 , you will need cacheman to access above the512meg ram limit of 98 ...IL-2 likes about 800 megs of ram for smoother play..

      recycled from the trash [and in use]
      2 = 945G chipset boards 2G Celeron and dual Pentium
      3 = AM-37 FIK motherboards 2-2.6 G
      in storage 810/815 chipset P3's 800MHZ[4setup and +? not]

        Cacheman does little to help to stability issues of having more than 512MB of RAM in Windows 9x. For 98 users, there is an unnofficial 1.5 Service Pack (Google it; I don't have the link) that fixes the problem.
