      AutoCAD Release 14

I was unable to find a place still selling it; at least by that product name.

        Re: Autocad R14

I came across CAD r14 at Download AutoCAD, AutoCAD R14 Download and a further search for it led me here

I'm trying to get AutoCAD and learn how to use it - just in 2D

I see lots of offers on-line including the unbelievable:
        Home
        and the tempting:
        Learn CAD on the Internet

I dont want to stir anything up:

I just want a cheap easy way to learn the basics of CAD - it'll look good on my CV. Anyone got any advice please?

            Re: Autocad R14

You shouldn't be able to buy Autocad R14 at all.
Autodesk(The company who make Autocad) only sell the current version of there software.

If you are wanting to just do 2d work then you should try Autocad 2010 Lt. The "light" version of Autocad does not have 3d capabilities and has a couple other disablities. But for the average 2d user is perfect and costs much less then full Autocad 2010.
