I was just wondering what the best software for capturing and editing movies from my mini DV camcorder.. right now i'm using Ulead's but i was wondering if there was one out there that was better.. thanks

Software for capturing doesn't really differ all that much, although I prefer the way that iMovie (on a Mac) does it...

As for editing, it all boils down to what you want to do, and how much you want to learn. Programs like Adobe Premiere (PC) / Final Cut Pro (Mac) have a fair learning curve, so you've got to pick a few things up before you start seeing results. If you're just after some basic editing with a few small features, then the Ulead software will be fine.
