Rip .wav from .pps

OK, this is probably insanely easy but I'm lost. How can I get a .wav file that is embedded in a PowerPoint .pps file? I have verified that it is a .wav but I can find no option that allows me to save it somewhere else so I have it for use elsewhere. Can this be done through PowerPoint? Is there a shareware utillity that I can use to rip the sound file?

did u try renaming the file as .ppt and then editing it under power point?
i don't have power point on this PC right now and can't be of much help but i guess once you get the file as .ppt you can open it under power point. there you will be able to see a speaker icon in the presentation.
from there right click it and copy it to a sound editor...to goldwave or dbpoweramp may be.
it is all speculation from my side but you never know.
