  • New Games Machine

I've done a fair bit of research and am considering buying the following components to make a games machine. I am not skilled with overclocking but I want to have the option in the future. Just thought I'd see if anybody has any comments about these components and find out if there are any known compatability issues.

    Re: New Games Machine

Just my own opinion, but I would get the case without a PSU and get a bigger one from another manuafcturer. I like Antec power supplies and they have a tendency to be rock solid, but a 550w model may not have enough power if you later decide to add another video board.

Also, the Raptor drives are good performers, but usually not enough so to make up for their high sticker price. SATA-II drives are very speedy and won't cause any problems for your gaming applications.
