You won't need a floppy if you have a fairly recent Windows XP SP2 disk. If you don't, you'll need to take the SATA drivers from the driver CD and put them on a floppy. It will either have a utility that does it for you or a folder you'll need to copy the contents of. It may also come with a driver floppy on its own.
