How much worse is an oem product versus retail

I'd go with the EPoX board. Biostar tends to deal with system makers and are not really designed for all-out performance. Also, it loses a PCI slot for a useless CNR riser, and the EPoX board gives you the full complement of 6 PCI slots to use.
