lcd vs. projector

I recently read the review about the projector that was posted on this website. It sounded pretty good, although a little bit expensive.. i was wondering what is the better value and what sort of features should i be looking if i would by either of these. It would be used for gaming, general computer work, movies. and if i get the projector it would also be used for my cable tv. Thanks for the info..

Some Projectors look real good and all but don't forget the lamp life and costs
