I have a little more then $1000 Canadian and was thinking of building a new system cuz the one I am using now royally sucks....please make sure links or prices are Canadian, thanks.......anyways I was just asking to hear some of ur guys's or gal's opinions or recommendations on what I should get within my budget. Not exactly sure whether or not to go Intel or AMD but I would use it purely for gaming and internet use. I was slowly leaning towards Intel for this system then when the new AMD chips come out I would build one of those....ha looks like I answered my own question...guess I would like to build an Intel system for a little more then $1000. Sorry for the confusion figuring it out as I go along. I need everything but the vid card as I will be getting a 9800Pro given to me. I have a little more then 1000 as I would like to keep it in the 1000-1200 range without going over. Thanks in advance.
Edit: I was also leaning towards Intel cuz then I could put it in dual channel unless an AMD64 would perform about the same or better in single channel.....as I forgot to mention I will be leaving it stock. I would also like to make this computer fairly small.
