If you're price range is only around 200 US bucks the ATI 9600xt is your card. Its the best mid-range card on the market, plus ya get Half-Life 2 for free with the retail version.

If you just hit the lottery, you can get a 9800xt for around 450 US and thats the best video card on the market, period right now.

If you're really hurtin for cash, and dont plan on playing any new DX9 games in the future, picking up an old nVidia Geforce4 ti4200 is your best bet. Even though it doesnt support DX9 games, it will still run them better than a 5200, and its only around 100 US dollars. The ti4200 overclocks very well too, you can get it up around 4600 speeds.
