New card..

Ok i am looking at fx 5900, and i was wondering if anyone have any experince with these 2 cards from Leadtek and Asylum.

They seem pretty cheap and i was wondering if they are any good.
I need response ASAP, not to rush anyone but i need some info by this afternoon cause i am going to buy it. Thanks a bunch. :cheers:

Also is it worth upgrading from my geforce 4400?

The reason they are cheap is because they are the value versions..

For the leadtek memory speed it is 2.8ns, is that the value version? What is the normal speed, i still need to find out the Asylum card memory speed, thanks. :cheers:

I've used plenty of Leadtek cards without and probs but I've never heard of Asylum b4.

Leadtek it is...i was going to buy a case, but why bother when i already wasted my time, and blood cutting holes for the case that i have now. It has also been a while since i bought a card, so thanks WIGGO...

Well...i just got my card..and i didn't see that much improvement in 3dmark01. I got the leadtek WinFast A350 TDH LX version, can anyone tell me if that is a budget card, i think soul burner has one. My system specs are in my sig.

Oh..should i return it and keep my ti4400..or keep it. If i return it, would the Geforce fx5700 be better than the value card i have now, or worst? :cheers:

AsianBatman: The only difference between the Leadtek WinFast A350 TDH (standard) and WinFast A350 TDH/LX (value) cards is the memory, 2.2 vs 2.8. Keep the A350 TDH/LX.

Thanks weta i already looked at the official website, now i am asking should i keep the fx or the gforce4 ti4400..

Ya might as well keep it as it does have DX9 support where as the Ti4400 doesn't plus it's spose to be faster.

I'd keep the 5900 because it's a DX9 card, while the Ti4400 is a DX8 card. Also, I would keep the 5900 over getting the 5700 Ultra because the 5900 has 8 pixel pipelines while the the 5700 only has 4. Of course, the 5700u also has DDR2 memory and the 5900 has DDR1 memory.

Well thanks alot for all those opinions!! :D I have decided to return this card and get a better card like the non budget 5900 or the 9800...non pro. But if i don't earn money by then, then i guess i will be sticking with this baby. Thanks again guys. Things like this bugs me. (To keep or Not to keep) :cheers:
