How do you install 2nd bootable hard drive with os, then remove os ?

Hi all,
Need some help. I just recently installed a new ssd and installed a clean copy of win 7 64 bit. Now what i want to do is use the old hard drive for storage.
The old hard drive has the same os as the new one. How can I install the old hard drive and remove the os without interfering with the new drive.

instell both drives,then in the bios under boot priority set first boot device as your ssd,then once in windows you can right click your storage hdd and click format to wipe it clean
