Hello all,
I have (had) a MSI K8N Neo4 with a nVIDIA nForce4 Ultra chipset. This included a NV RAID controller. I (not so wisely) had two pairs of RAID 0 drives setup (4 hard drives). I used the second RAID to backup files off the first. Well the drives are fine, but the motherboard died.
Well I find I can put together a pretty cheap system with a nVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE/nForce 430 chip set. (Should make a nice little media server.) The question is does this support the NV RAID that I had in the six year old system? (I'm replacing this system with an Core i7 and will hopefully get another 6 years out of it. Backup will be on a straight IDE mode drive though... maybe on the new AMD system.)
Thanks
