    Re: Multiple Harddrives

I have 2 hdds, one I use for all data back ups in case the main drive physically fails. Is it better? well thats a personal choice call, I have a 120gig with the OS on it, and a 40gig partitioned into 2 x 20gig, one 20gig I use for back up of OS stuff, the other has all my music etc on it.

        Re: Multiple Harddrives

i use 5 hard drives, 2x120gbs, 2x160gbs and a 80gb...having more hard drives gives u a wider spread of failure, instead of being hit by losing 250gb i could only lose 80 or 120...
