    That will be interesting to see how they implement that as the Hammers all have intergrated memory controllers (Athlon64 has one while highend Opertrons have dual controllers). But yes it would make sense for the higher FSB processors.

      Wonder if they can bypass the integrated controllers somehow..
      just read this:

      Got some nice info on the Athlon 64, seems like they have to revise the CPU to support newer Memory standards..
      Seems like theyre starting out on DDR333, then moves up to DDR400 and then DDRII when it becomes available as a standard and to consumers.
      There seems to be some scepticism about te move to 64 bit, microsoft will have to get everyone to make 64bit drivers to all kinds of hardware among others..
      AMD seems to counter hyperthreading with affordable dual CPU configs tho.. that i like =)

        AMD Needs Not to fire there workers. They let off a rather large load not too long ago maybe 1000 or 10,000
