Seeing as the rumor is that the lowest-end model is multiplier locked, and the next unlocked CPU is suggested to be priced above 2600K, does the thought of this budget bracket still attract you (+ 4 sticks of DDR3 + motherboard)?
I'm wondering given that 95% of people bought i7-920s when X58 launched - have tastes changed given that many went for quite expensive K-series this year. Obviously this is me absolutely not confirming or denying anything, simply because I don't know :P
