Help needed - ASUS A7V333 and AMD Processors

I have an ASUS A7V333 motherboard and currently an AMD 2000 XP processor. I am having trouble finding out what the fastest processor is thar I can use with this motherboard.

Does anybody know?

A quick search on the Asus site shows it will run anything up to a 3000+ Barton core processor, but you'll need at least v1017 BIOS to get this capability. There was also a v1018 Beta BIOS for download, but I'm not an Asus aficionado so I can't say whether it has issues or not.

Sorry, but You can only use Barton core's (333FSB) on Mobo's that are PCB 2.00

Mine is one of the early ones, so it's 1.01, which has a max limit of 2600+ (266FSB):cry:
