A7V8X adding 2x512meg DDR333 RAM

I recently upgraded to an Asus A7V8X mobo and want to install two sticks of 512Meg PC2700 DDR333 RAM into it.

Should I install into slots 1 & 2 or 1 & 3 ?

I was reading somewhere that by installing into slots 1 & 3 the mobo will run the memory in Dual Channel mode, if anyone knows anything about this please let me know.

I'm sorry but the mobo that ya mention here is the VIA based one and does not have dual memory channel capability (that's only for nForce based mobos).

wiggo you da man. just to add a little more, you should fill the lowest numbered slots frist ie 0-1-2 or 1-2-3 however they are numbered.
