ok my mainboard chipset isn't a via chipset, is a SiS

but i think i'm having the same problem because of this



note: my mobo support 4x but i'm not sure that i'm having this problem because i don't see the agp setting in the bios, i've checked every menu and it isn't there, i also think that this mobo agp speed must be set trough jumpers but i can't try to set it to 4x because i don't know wich one is the agp jumper and i don't have the mainboard book.

help me please :)

hmmm, one of my friends has a similar problem, though his says AGP is disabled.
Or at like 1X (he has an 8X and his mobo supports it)
not quite sure what the prob is.
