I also have the same mb..
but my power LED has 3pins.. so i really don't know where it goes!?!

i have another problem, it doesn't want to boot up, i've checked 10times all the plugs, everything is in place but it's just doesn't boot!!! i don't hear the beep and can't get into the BIOS....
One thing that I don't understand is the CD-Rom is running, in fact it never stops as long as I leave the power on!

I'm all confused.. don't know what to do...
I just got my mb for 1day! It can't be burned already.. can it?!?

    thanks

sounds like you have the ide cable on teh motherboard or the CD drive the wrong way around

Andys on the right track disconnect everthing that isnt 100% reguired to run the machine epescially the CD then retry
mine had a similiar problem which turned out to be the video card which wasnt fuuly seated in its slot.
My power LED also has three pins usaully the white cable is negative & green for positive connect as per the connection diagram earlier in this thread good luck & let us know when its all happening

Yeah I've checked that all is well connect, and i'm pretty sure it is!

I tried to unplug everythin, including the keyboard and the video card, so it should beep 34-times.. but i heard no beeping at all!

I'm so desperate, I'm running out of ideas...:( :( :(

yeah i tried the clear CMOS on the board already...
all things lead to a burned board.. but i just got it!

                  yeah i did...
the only thing that is connect to the board is the HD and video card
oh yeah, when i open the monitor, it says "check signal", so it is not receiving any signal from the computer..

anyone knows the sequence of the booting?
                  what does it check first?

The boot sequence for my MSI mobo is:

                    initialize processor
                    test rtc
                    initialize video
                    bios sign on
                    test momory
                    assign recources to isa
                    initialize hard drive
                    initialize floppy
                    boot attempt
                    os boot
