I'm a bit confused here by the User Guide. On page 4-23 it says:
[Auto] allows the BIOS to detect whether you are using any audio device. If an audio device is detected, the onboard audio controller is enabled; if no audio device is detected, the controller is diasbled. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
1.) [Auto] is not an option in my BIOS
2.) Why would the detection of a device Enable the onboard Audio? Why the heck would I want onboard Audio enabled if I have a Sound Card? Please 'splain.
I have no sound at all. I have enabled the onboard audio and disabled it. No difference at all. The driver version for my Audigy2 is: 5.12.2.444
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
